UP 5098 is on the point of a westbound Z-train using the KCT to get across Kansas City. Once out of KC, the train will head down the ex-Cotton Rock out of Topeka, KS.

UP 5098 is on the head end of a slow-rolling intermodal that has come down to KC via trackage rights on the BNSF. This train will hop onto UP rails and take the old Cotton Rock to the Southwest.
